West Gate Studios is intended for both Romanian and international students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, or PhD programs, as well as young professionals at the beginning of their careers, up to the age of 30.

The minimum age for accommodation is 18.

For exceptional situations, please contact the Administrative Office directly at office@ihouse-westgate.ro.

For current residents: June 2–22, 2025 (with loyalty benefits)

For new residents: Starting July 1, 2025, until all rooms are booked

• ID card

• Completed Roommate Agreement form (downloadable from the application form) – only if you specify a preferred roommate

• Company registration number (CUI) – if the contract holder is a legal entity

• GDPR Agreement – downloadable from the application form

You can choose between:

10 months: September 28, 2025 – July 28, 2026

12 months (pay for 11; last month is free): September 28, 2025 – September 18, 2026

Yes. If you choose to extend your stay for the summer, an additional fee applies:

€15/person/month for a spot in a double room

€30/person/month for a single room

The summer extension is available up to August 31. After that date, only those who renew for the following academic year may remain on campus.

Choosing a specific room or building is not available for new residents.

The only exception applies to current residents, who can request to keep their room during the contract renewal period.

Moves are only possible starting from the third week after check-in, depending on availability and with approval from the Administrative Office.

A justified reason is required in order to submit a relocation request.

Yes, you can specify a preferred roommate in the reservation form. For this choice to be confirmed, both future roommates must sign a Roommate Agreement.

Rooms can be occupied by one person (single occupancy) or two people (double occupancy).

Such situations should be discussed with the West Gate Studios team. We will try to resolve the issue through mediation between roommates, and if that is not possible, a relocation option will be considered.

Two general cleanings are included: one recommended during March–April (spring cleaning) and another at any time, at the resident’s request. Both cleanings are scheduled appointments.

Smoking is not allowed in rooms or indoor areas. It is only permitted on balconies and in designated outdoor areas.

The use of additional equipment beyond what is already provided in the room is allowed only with the approval of the Administrative Office and may involve extra charges, calculated based on the type of equipment and its energy consumption.

These costs range between 5 and 20 EUR/month and must be paid once, in advance, for the entire usage period, from installation until the end of the contract.

Bringing additional furniture into the room is only allowed with the approval of the Administrative Office and may incur additional charges, calculated based on the type of furniture, starting from 100 RON/item/handling. Handling is carried out exclusively by the campus technical staff.
